Dykes on Bikes® – Salt Lake spent a wonderful two days in the 100 degree heat at the Gateway in downtown Salt Lake for the first SLC-Pride. Three misting fans and some great company made the event wonderful.
Our website has lost some headers and footers resulting in a loss of navigation functionality and some reflexive (mobile/tablet/full-size) issues due to an unscheduled package update occurring in the middle of SLC-Pride. Working to restore. The desktop site is working. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Status: The issue was tracked to issues between older Opal, Elementor, and the particular template we are using. Much of the page had to be reformatted and some recreated. There are no doubt some typos and other errors… Also still do not like the menu in the header and some reflexive issues. The site is at least back to full function.
Dykes on Bikes® – Salt Lake lead off the 2024 Utah Pride Parade with 60 motorcycles. Our thanks to Addictive Behavior Motorworks for providing our pre-parade rally point. We also want to shout out to the Belles who were so supportive, we love riding with all y’all.
In February, 2004, The Dykes on Bikes® – Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Chapter gifted their parade flag to Dykes on Bikes® – Salt Lake.
The flag traveled back to Utah and has now been displayed publicly for the first-time here in the US at the Davis Co. Pride event held May 4, 2024 in the Layton Commons Park, Layton, Utah, USA.
Dob – Salt Lake was touched by the kindness, hospitality, and sisterhood shown us by Dob Melbourne … We love our Melbourne sisters!
Dykes on Bikes® ~ Salt Lake, Utah USA is the newest chapter in the DoB sisterhood. Our chapter is so thankful for the help and support shown to us by our mother chapter, San Francisco Dykes on Bikes® Women’s Motorcycle Contingent, and our sisters down under with Dykes on Bikes Melbourne without who we might not be here to serve the Salt Lake and greater Utah community
